Finally online!
2010-11-07
Well, it took a little bit more time than I thought it would, but here it is! My online portfolio is finally …online!
After countless poorly constructed (yet well-designed of course ;) ) websites, and even a few reasonable versions, I’m proud to call this my first ‘real’ website. I actually didn’t write a single line of code, but I designed it from header to footer, as I imagine a true web developer would say. Well, probably they would say something more like ‘from open-tag to close-tag’ but that’s where the artistic freedom kicks in I guess…
Talking about artistic freedom, let me tell you a little bit about this site. The biggest reason why I’ve always wanted my own website is that I love being creative and like any artist I enjoy sharing my creations with other people. The Portfolio-part of the site will therefore be the most important one. It’s where I’ll be placing (a selection of) all the things I design or have designed in the past.
The other ‘big’ part of this site will be the blog. I’m not one to talk much by any standard, but I do like to share my knowledge and excitement with people who are interested in design. The blog will be used mostly to post items like tutorials and tips, inspirational galleries and freebies. And anything else I feel I have to tell the world.
Well I guess that’s it for now. Nothing left for me to say but: Enjoy your stay, and never stay away for too long!
